middle of year laziness

is tomorrow is really July 1st? No, i mean is today is the last day of June? oh my, the time keep running and left me behind... wut did i just said? just forget it.. these few days im really tired n at the same time im a bit sad... my mom is in KLGH, yday was the day she was operated.. Alhamdulillah, everything is smooth but i still cant speak v mak becoz she's not really conscious when i visited her yday.. everyday after working i'll drive to GH to see ma mom.. i hope she'll recover sooner than expected and she can go out from GH.. i told u, the nurses are very mean and 'biadab', and they did unfinished works.. they should know that their action will actually kill the patients! im so upset with most of the nurses in the ward! forget about those rude nurses.. im going to complain today.. i will..

Wut have i done for June? not so much, just work.. sometimes i got so many works but sometimes i got to find tasks to do until i became really boring.. i dunno why am i so lazy to go to work nowadays, eventou i woke up early in the morning but still when i arrived at the office i feel soooooo lazy.. im need to b motivated, mayb i should attend for a course, i wanna go out from this office.. am quite boring to do the same thing everyday.. or maybe i need an oversea trip v ma hubby! i think we should since we havent go out from malaysia yet for this year.. where should i go? i should wait for the red cheapest airlines promo! or i just missed it? worse come to worst, i will plan for a domestic trip only... we'll c..


this is just my morning ramblings, i dun really plan to write an entry, but i just did.. yeah, am so lazy to update my blog recently, my June entries are the least compare to the other months.. i will called it as middle-year-laziness.. i think i'll stop here, have a productive day to all of u.. happy 1st of July tomorrow..

yeah, i knew millions of people couldnt wait to watch transformers: Dark of the Moon today! happy watching to those who'll watch the movie tonight.. i oredy bought the tickets for Saturday show... lets enjoy the trailer for the last time... i cant wait for the movie! i really really cant wait to watch it!




Peristiwa Isra' dan Mi'raj

Assalamualaikum... Hari ini adalah hari Isra' dan Mi'raj di mana Nabi Muhammad SAW diangkat dr bumi ke langit ke-7 melalui tangga emas (mi'raj).. Mari kita menghayati apakah peristiwa ini sebenarnya... Artikel ini I ambil dr ms.wikipedia

Peristiwa Isra dan Mi'raj Nabi Muhammad s.a.w. terjadi pada 27 Rejab tahun ke-12 dari masa kenabian beliau, merupakan peristiwa penting yang selalu dirayakan setiap tahun oleh seluruh umat Islam. Tarikh ini bersamaan 662 M iaitu ketika Nabi berumur 52 tahun, setahun sebelum Hijrah dari Mekah ke Madinah. Tahun ini juga dikenali sebagai Tahun Dukacita kerana bapa saudaranya Abu Talib bin Abdul Mutalib dan isterinya Siti Khadijah binti Khuwailid meninggal dunia. Nabi dan anak angkatnya Zaid bin Harisah diusir dan dibaling batu oleh penduduk Taif sehingga berdarah .Peristiwa israk mikraj ini tercatat dalam surah al Isra ayat 1 (Al Quran:17:1). Surah al Najm ayat 60 juga menceritakan peristiwa ini .(al Quran:53:13-18).

Beberapa peristiwa yang terjadi selama Isra' berlangsung memberikan hikmah dan pelajaran yang sangat mendalam bagi Nabi Muhammad s.a.w. serta menjadi cermin bagi umat yang menjadi pengikutnya.

  1. Nabi memperoleh pelajaran tentang keadaan masa lalu dan masa yang akan datang yakni saat Jibril menyuruh beliau melakukan solat di Kota Thaibah (Madinah) dimana kelak Nabi akan berhijrah ke kota ini, di Thur Saina (Bukit Thursina), tempat Allah berfirman kepada Nabi Musa, serta di Bethelehem, tempat lahirnya Nabi Isa putera Maryam (Mary).
  2. Jibril juga mengajar Nabi bagaimana menghadapi Ifrit dari golongan jin yang mengganggunya dengan memberinya sebuah doa yang harus dibaca Nabi.
  3. Mengambil hikmah dari perjuangan seorang Muslimah sejati Masyitah dalam berjihad mempertahankan keyakinannya akan keesaan Allah.
  4. Mendapat pelajaran bagaimana akibatnya bagi orang-orang yang enggan solat, enggan berzakat, pemakan riba dan suka berbuat zina. Pengganggu jalan umum, pemimpin yang suka menumpuk-numpuk jabatan dan suka menjelek-jelekan orang lain.
  5. Gambaran umat yang terjebaknya dalam kemewahan dunia, perumpamaan umur dunia yang sudah tua, tamsil bermacam-macam minuman yang boleh dan tidak boleh (haram) diminum umat Nabi serta adanya pengakuan para nabi akan keberadaan Nabi Muhammad s.a.w. sebagai pemimpin utama.


Dalam perjalanan Mikraj banyak pula hal yang dialami oleh Nabi Muhammad s.a.w. Namun yang paling penting adalah baginda mendapat keringanan solat fardu dari 50 kali menjadi 5 kali sehari semalam, sebuah kewajiban yang harus dikerjakan umatnya sampai kelak akhir zaman.

How to control you blood sugar?

Before, i dun even care about my blood glucose level, as far as i know i'm one healthy woman.. until last few weeks when i got my blood gl checked, i was so shocked and couldnt even believe the device, eventou i knew the device used by the nurse to check my blood gl wasnt the best or the accurate one but i realized i have a very hg risk of DBM since both of my parents are diabetic now! so i trained myself to avoid sugary food and start eating very spicy food.. but it wasnt good! glucose intake is important too... so i switched to low GI food.. but Malaysian food labeling is one of the worst, i can only find food with low GI label in Coldstorage/Jusco Supermarket/ Harrods!

until i found this article by shine@yahoo, i think i'm going to implement these tips in my daily life..

Tip #1: Lose Weight
Extra fat can make your body resistant to the action of insulin. Losing weight improves insulin’s activity, which reduces blood-glucose levels. Research suggests that people at high risk for diabetes who lose as little as 5 percent of their body weight (i.e., about 10 pounds, if they weigh 200 pounds) can prevent or delay onset of the condition.

Tip #2: Exercise Regularly
Studies show that physical activity improves the body’s response to insulin and helps lower blood-glucose levels. Not only that, exercise goes hand in hand with healthy eating to achieve weight loss. Aim to fit in 30 minutes of moderate activity—such as brisk walking—nearly every day.

Tip #3: Choose Whole Grains
Selecting whole grains, such as whole-wheat breads and pastas, barley, corn and oats, over refined ones can help improve insulin sensitivity. Whole grains will help you meet your recommended daily intake for fiber (25 grams for women; 38 grams for men); they also provide more vitamins, minerals and other health-promoting nutrients than refined grains.

Tip #4: Don’t Skip Meals
Eating breakfast helps insulin to lower blood-glucose levels, and eating regularly spaced meals also helps insulin work better, suggests research.

Tip #5: Choose Foods Low on the Glycemic Index—But Keep in Mind That Mixing Foods Will Change the GI.
The glycemic index (GI) is a system of ranking foods that contain equal amounts of carbohydrates according to how much they raise blood-glucose levels. (The lower the GI number, the less the food boosts your blood sugar and the more diabetic-diet-friendly it is.) The GI is somewhat confusing and even a little controversial (for instance, we rarely eat single foods by themselves and when you combine foods it affects the GI). But, in general, it does lead you to healthy foods. For example, vegetables, whole grains, beans and high-fiber foods tend to fall lower on the glycemic scale, while processed and refined foods and sweets are higher up.

5 months of 2011

sekarang i sudah malas menulis... byk idea tp tiada kesempatan.. bz pun ade lah skit2.. anyway, today is June 1st, how time flies.. so fast... we r in the middle of the year oredy.. what have i done for the past 5months? on terms of work, i got new immediate boss, still in d same division/ ministry.. still doing d same thing and still in d same room.. i really really need to go out from this place, i want new environment and place of work! and i already submitted my transfer letter, i hope j*p*a will entertain me as soon as they got the letter but what made me sad is the letter still stuck in my HRD! how can???? plz dun stop some1's career development, i knew u guys kt HR mmg suke duk situ, and u guys prefer to stay doing the same job until u retired but not me! i want new experience and new thing!

AND

in terms of life, im still single! no, i meant im married and still child-less! hoping and waiting for the big news and praying.. may Allah bless me! anyway, i bought a house and still in the development progress! inshaAllah, with Allah permission, we'll enter the new house next year! rite now, im in the process of saving for the house! finally, i got a house and it does feel like a dream comes true.. it will be bless if i have a 'baby' to take care inside it later! Amin..

ok, thats all for this Wednesday morning, i am not a wordless Wednesday person!
