Tukang kasut derma RM 621,000 ke hospital pediatrik

PITTSBURGH - Seorang tukang kasut mengumpul hasil bayaran sebagai pengilat kasut selama 30 tahun untuk didermakan ke hospital pediatrik di Pittsburgh, Amerika Syarikat.
Albert Lexie berkata, sepanjang tempoh itu, beliau mengumpul AS$200,00 (RM621 000) sejak 1980-an dan mengenakan upah AS$1 (RM3) kepada pelanggan di hospital berkenaan.


“Kebanyakan pelanggan memberi bayaran lebih termasuk seorang doktor yang memberikan AS$50 (RM150) kepada saya ketika Krismas tahun lalu," katanya.

Dr Joseph Carcillo berkata, Lexie menderma lebih daripada satu pertiga gaji seumur hidupnya kepada Kumpulan Wang Hospital Penjagaan Percuma Kanak-kanak, bagi membantu ibu bapa yang tidak mampu untuk membayar kos perubatan anak mereka. - AP

Both are my fave clubs from 2 different leagues.. But i love #MUFC more.. So i do hope RedDevils will win this game or at least draw at Madrid! Oh Cristiano, why are you there? I love Rooney, I love Persie, I love Cristiano, I love Chicharito, I love Rafael, I love De Gea, I love Cassilas, I love Kaka, I love Higuain, I love ManUtd and I love Real Madrid.
